Hi guys, I have a 2016 MCS, and I've been having occasional issues with rough idling after a cold start for the past 2-3 months. Sometimes it would sound like the car was about to stall when putting it into reverse 15-30 sec after the cold start. Today it did stall, so I scheduled an appointment with Mini. Anyone have this issue? I saw something similar for the non-s engine in the service bulletin thread, but nothing for the MCS.

 

I had the exact same problem on my 2014 MCS A/T and I fixed it by cleaning the air intake / Throttle Body area with special cleaner. See if you can find my post.
