Turbocord charger, garage install questions
Looking at charger options for the garage. I know a lot of folks just use the level 1 charger that comes with the car, but since my breaker panel is in my garage a level 2 charger install is probably only going to run me $150 or so plus the cost of the charger, so I figure why not. I'm looking at the Turbocord model that doesn't have the 120v adapter (I figure why pay an extra $100 for an adapter when I can just use the cable that came with the car at that point):

Anyway, I wanted to get some feedback on the Turbocord product. The wall plug itself looks pretty hefty - any concerns about the weight of it causing it to fall out of the socket? I saw that the $500 model with the adapter comes with a retaining wall plate to secure the plug to the receptacle. Does the cheaper model have this too? Any thoughts about the product in general?
Regarding garage installation/charging - any tips for making it super-convenient to plug in and charge, while keeping the cord from getting in the way? I want it to be really easy for my wife, and not worry about tripping over the cable all the time. Has anyone rigged up a ceiling mounted system where you pull the charger down from above on a spring-loaded tether/bungee? That would be pretty slick.
Thanks,
Sean

Weight will not be an issue.
And for the same price why not just buy the OEM 61-44-0-003-082 MINI COOPER PORTABLE EV CAR DUAL CHARGER TURBOCORD on EBay from an Authorized Mini Dealer? That is the exact listing where I got mine a couple of weeks ago--and it arrived fast and was brand new.
