Warning the Brake pads!

Hi everyone!

I have a 2019 MINI Countryman S FWD.

A few weeks ago, I got a yellow service warning for the front brake pads on my F60 and then a red warning in the morning while driving.
About a month ago, my F60 had its brake fluid changed and checked to make sure the front and rear pads were in around 40% condition.

Is the red warning a message that automatically appears after some time if the yellow message is not reset?
What can I do to resolve this warning?

Thank you,
Have a good day!

I wonder if the yellow warning a few weeks ago might have been time-based, and this new warning is a sensor being activated (rubbed by the rotor and wearing through the sensor wire).

Thank you for your reply.
I checked the front brake pad last night but I'm not sure well.
The sensor seems to be too close to the disc rotor.

Can you recommend a front brake set?

I wonder if the yellow warning a few weeks ago might have been time-based,
RE: I don't remember very well. It was a message to check the front pad.

Based on that picture, your pads are low. I've been pleased with Akebono Euro ceramic as an option to the OEM pads. Less dust, and good performance.
