Hi all...

I ordered a 2016 MCS with JCW exterior/interior options. I love the right side steering wheel controller for volume and next track/last track. So, last Feb. the next/last track stopped working. Control on dash works fine. Steering wheel control stopped working completely in May, but since I was due for service in July, I figured I'd wait. While my car was in dealership, I received a 2018 loaner and the steering wheel first track/last track worked perfectly. Two days later when I went to pick my car up, the steering wheel control still wasn't working. It took a few service guys and finally, the guy who does all the JCW addons deleted and reinstalled my blue tooth on iPhone and my MCS. Worked fin all the way home. Not working again on Friday, yesterday or today. Calling dealer first thing tomorrow to get appt. and loaner while they find the problem.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, what was the fix?

Also, this is streaming bluetooth from iPhone 6 to Mini. Also, Mini updated my iPhone software and there was a Mini software update from mid-2017 they applied (and which I was never aware of)/

 

It's on Apple's end. My iphone X worked perfect out of the box until 11.3 or so. The only fix was to delete the bluetooth connection from the phone and the car, then re-pair which lasted a day or so. It's much better running ios 12 beta. Every once and awhile I have the same issue, but closing the Music app and re-opening seems to fix.
