Do 02's without fogs still have wiring?
I know that newer minis have them, but I took a look the other day aand didn't find any wiring back there, but I didn't look very extensively. Am I supposed to be finding a wiring harness back there?

From what I have read on NAM, no. There is a retrofit kit which includes an add-on harness for the fogs.

Even newer MINIs are not prewired for front fogs. My '06 did not come with front fogs and was not prewired. I retrofitted them and it was a major project. Rear fogs were prewired though.

02-04 the rear Fog lights were in the Break lights, so there wouldn't be any wiring for a fog light. Theres just the wiring for the back up light.

I believe the 02-04 rear fog (at the top of the tail lights) are prewired. Ian Cull (GBMINI) wrote about them back in 2003:
