Run To Raven's Grin

Run To Raven's Grin
'Ello Govnors,
October is nearly upon us and that means Halloween. I thought I'd throw together a 'spooky' MINI run to add to the October month of events. I'm setting the date for this run on the 23rd of October.
-The 8th Annual Fall Tour is scheduled for the 9th(TBA).-
(I'll change it if the 8AFT falls on that day)
The run is set to begin at the 'creepy' Maquoketa Caves, traverse across the 'eerie' Sebula Bridge, navigate some 'chilling' twisties and arrive at the Haunted Raven's Grin
http://www.hauntedravensgrin.com/
This is a neat place. It's more of a museum/tour than a haunted house and no-one will chase you with a chainsaw. There are some scary images and 'jump out and scare you' moments so kids under 10yrs old might not like it. The tour takes about 2hrs and the cost is $12. (We should reserve a tour in advance if our group is more than 15 since Oct. is their busy month).

-since I don't know how to do the 'sign up sheet' thing.
EDIT: Here's a link to the calendar sign-up --> Run to Raven's Grin

I've added this to our CALENDER OF EVENTS (yea me!) OCTOBER 23rd
Go there for details and to sign up (yea me again!!)
Now, if I could only figure out how to say "click here" and go there that would be awesome!
Do not click the "click here" it won't work.

David, I think moving this drive to October 23rd is a great move. Closer to Halloween (better scare factor) and more likely that folks coming off of the Iowa Fall Tour will be able to make a place for it on their schedules. Thanks!
(If you want your "click here" to work, try this:
- Go to your post in your web browser. Open your calendar entry in a separate browser window. Highlight the text in your post that you want to turn into a hyperlink, then select the link icon (the little earth symbol with the chain links) -- you'll see a pop-up with a place to enter a URL. Copy the URL from the second browser window and paste it into the pop-up window. That's all there is to it.)

Ok, just spoke with the GRINN.
I will send off a check for 'x' amount of $$ to reserve a time slot. If I over pay they can refund the difference and all of you can reimburse me. If I'm short on the cash we can make up the difference there. So if your committed or even thinking about going please sign up for a head count. I will figure 2/MINI.

Oh, not the wisdom you were looking for eh?
Weather: 30% chance of rain & 67 degrees for the temperature.
Bring an umbrella and a cozy sweater just incase.
It looks like 8 MINIs (16 people) are enrolled so far.
I'll call the Grin tomorrow with the latest headcount.
I need to collect $12 from 2 people, fight amongst yourselves for that priviledge. The rest of you can pay at the Grin.
Gotta get started on the detailing. See ya!!

**Update**
Mapquest version of route:
http://www.mapquest.com/mq/7-8jSQp77vjdR8
I have changed the meet/departure time to 9:00am/9:45am
to help keep us on track or ahead of schedule. I updated the itinerary but it wouldn't upload. Sorry.
If we keep our pedal to the metal we should be fine. Any problems with that? I didn't think so.
