E-Mini Passenger Side Mirror Replacement
Passenger Side Mirror Replacement
I have a narrow garage and clipped the passenger's side mirror. The base was damaged - the mirror still moves and folds part of the base is cracked. A used replacement is 500 to over 600. A base replacement from Mini is less than 350. It looks like I would have to switch out the motor of the mirror, the mirror itself and the light. I was just wondering if this would be a relatively easy DIY or should I bite the proverbial bullet and take it to a shop for repair. I replaced the mirror on a Countryman but that was basically an unbolt and rebolt operation which was relatively easy.
Not sure if I should tackle it - input would be appreciated
