Vacuum hose leak/disconnected

I just put the front end back together after installing a 15% supercharger pulley and when I started it up there was a loud suction that sounded like a shop vac with a leaf in it and the sound ceased when revving the engine. My guess is that I forgot to connect a hose and when I rev it it connects temporarily because of the suction forces. But after searching and searching I can’t find it, any ideas? Also there are small rips in my intercooler boots but I didn’t think that would be the cause as they are not vacuum.
