The Rain Line and learning

This last weekend I had my first experience with the rain line. It is the most beneficial thing I've had in my very short HPDE career. Once I got comfortable with the rain line and the conditions - it made me almost intimate with the whole track, not just the racing line. When it dried up, the track was much more comfortable to me because I knew how my car would react on _other_ parts of the track instead of the racing line. Before I knew it, I was finding my own way through the corners that were a good fit for me and my car. I started getting faster and faster, and by the end of the day, I had made a good amount of progress. I credit it to the rainy morning and the rain line.

What do you all think?
