Is anyone else considering the BMW CCA school at Lime Rock on May 6th? I just signed up and got confirmed. It would be great to have some more MINIs there! The Patroon chapter is running it.

I signed up in intermediate - my car will have had a make over by then with only one previous event under my belt. So Greg, I can loan you mine if you're nice to it...it's a company car...no stress - if you break it I lose my job and I get to sleep on your couch. Do you typically register as experienced?

 

I could always get you a job with CeCe bros. We have a nice house for rent right next door also ...

I usually run advanced group with White Mountain, Boston and Del-Val chapters, but some like the CT Valley only let you do that if you run with their club a few times. Not sure how this club will place me.

 

Yea, my first time with this club, and with a new set up...I'm not dying to be a hero, just have fun.

 

I'm glad there will be at least 4 (keep working onasled) MINIs in attendance. dkstone, I hope to get you as an instructor.

Yes, that 'was' me about 20+ years ago. I was close with the Chinetti family who as you probably know was NART. This car. along with some very select others was just sitting in their garage behind Sr's house on King street. It was only a few of the very many they owned. I used to help clean them every once in a while.

The 312T and T2 are two of my favorites! Wow, what an experience you had. Do these cars still exist in this condition? Can I go see?

I'm going someplace special on Monday. My boss is taking me...it's a car collection that's all I know. If I can grab pics - if worthy - and figure out how to down load I will.
