Just an FYI for those Limerock lovers...

Connecticut Autocross and Rally Team (CART) is running two track days at LRP this year.

June 22nd - a Wednsday
Sept 22nd - a Thursday

Each event is $315 and is a full day.

There won't be as many hardcore track cars at these events although there will be enough. More autox'rs than normal as this is an autocross club but it still will be a good event with plenty of track time. Plus most likely an event T-shirt included...

VV - you did this event last year, right?

 

How much track time will there be? Just curious.

 

Depends on whether they do a TT or not. I think you'll definitely have at least what SCDA gives you if not more. Plus - if they do a TT and there is time left over, they will reopen the track.

I paid for this event last year but wasn't able to participate because it was when my car broke last year. I did go and watch tho and believe VV was there so maybe he can chime in as to how much track time he remembers getting..

I'll be going to the June event at least and then will be heading up to Mt Washington for the Climb-To-The-Clouds Hillclimb the next day. I volunteered to work a corner on the hill....

 

We will wait to VV to chime in.

He is on this track time should not include off/on time (start up and cool down lap) thing. Something like net track time.

Not sure if we will meet up much on the track this year but we should try.

 

I sure hope we all meet agin this year...it's always fun! I plan on doing the 2 day NJMP event with SCDA again, in September.

I head to VIR on Thursday with Garylimey - but just to help him out with a race he's doing, no DE.

 

Sound like it could be fun at VIR.

I am thinking of doing NJMP is September with SCDA as well. Any LRP days?

 

Right now I am booked woth NASA for April 2nd and I'll do the CART event in June. Most likely I'll throw an SCDA date in there at some point...
