Ok, not quite a detail question, but it falls into the same realm.

So, I am going to put a badge on my boot. Assuming the area is already clean, and has wax on it, question is do remove the wax first, or put the badge on the waxed surface?

Remove the wax first, definitely. Isopropyl alcohol works well. Just remember to re-wax the area after the badge is in place.

Apply the badge to a pc. of magnetic sheeting. Trim mag. sheeting. Wash and wax car and gently place mag. sticker in place. Feel free to lift and move at your whim. By placing it in different places, your paint will not fade funny. Store mag. sticker on the side of frig.

if you're ****, wait on the wax until after 24hrs and dont get that badge
wet. if applied in cool temps, make sure to heat up the panel and the
adhesive.
