Just did mine.. used a heat gun along the stripe as i pulled toward the gun. Worked great on 10yr old stripes. To get tiny glue bits off I used this stuff called rapid remover - its what the pros use. Great stuff!

Yep, that works i would aslo buff out the hood as when i saw it I had some light ghost marks.

$39 Steam machine from Bed Bath & Beyond worked well for my stripe removal. Was quoted $400 for the removal by a bodyshop.
