Where will this be? I should be in Virginia Beach by this time, and I am looking to get involved with the various groups in the region.

Some of the route will be in Northern Howard County, Md. The map and all info are on the first post.

so i think decorating for me would be a no-no....green shamrock decorations with that nightfire red paint? i may end up making it look like a very confused x-mas car

SpitfireMkI Feb 17, 2008 10:08 AM

Leona, Wensley and I are in for this run barring a huge snow storm

The route actually uses some of the roads I've been cruising on for the Burtonsville run, these roads are really nice ! Wait till you see the hill climb on Dogwood ! (Hope I'm not letting too much outta the bag !)

Where Bill's Awesome Baltimore run is more down and dirty 1st through 3rd gear twisties, these roads are more like 3rd through 5th gear open running........nice to have variety !

Mike

MiniPol Feb 20, 2008 03:21 AM

13 people signed up so far ? Can't have that... 13.. unlucky... c'mon... sign up if you haven't done so already ! It'll be fine without Jeff there ! :)

mmatarella Feb 20, 2008 07:06 AM

Well, I'd love to do this run except it conflicts with DC's actual St. Patricks Day Parade! DUH! :)

D-Unit Feb 20, 2008 07:52 AM

im glad i clicked on this out of curiosity. when i saw parade i assumed it would be a 10 mph clutch fest through some city streets, so i didnt even look at it. but my curiosity peaked, especially because i cant make the tubing run this weekend, and i need my next fix (after only one run im addicted). so i thought anything would be better than nothing. i was excited to find that this is another run.

btw, are non-members welcome? its nice to have someone to talk to and its funny to watch them hold on for dear life with both hands on the "oh-****" handle as you rip through the twisties. just curious, either way, im in.

CR&PW&JB Feb 20, 2008 08:04 AM

We'd love to have a Laser Blue MINI join us !

And by the way, this run has it's share of twisties but also has some primary and secondary roads that make for a nice, liesurely drive. A little bit of everything.

And don't forget to decorate your MINI for the holiday ! I ordered the prize today for the best decorated car and I think the winner will be happy (not expensive, but very cool).
