Competition Shocks

Is there a predominant brand of aftermarket competition shocks run by most/all of the national level competitors in G Stock?

Has anyone done quantitative comparisons with shock dynos or in-car instrumentation to prove the performance of one brand vs. another? Would you be willing to share?

Also, any knowledge concerning the shock manufacturers' consistency from one shock to the next? In other words, if I buy two identical brand/model shocks from different production runs, what are the chances that testing would show similar performance by each shock?
