Love the color combo and simplicity of your car kevinminict! That black grill looks real nice and compliments the whole car.

I saw a MY cooper "MINI BEE" just like ours on 294 south of Chicago today, but didn't get a chance to wave. Anyone on here?

I bought the touch up from my dealer. It was $19. Two bottles, one with color, one with clear. Matches perfectly.

Bought "Yellow Peril" in St. Louis last summer. We'd purchased an '07 CR Cabrio in West Palm in May and decided to see if we could stand the small car on a road trip. Left Vero Beach, FL, drove to Atlanta to see family, then on to St. Louis to see more family.

"I wonder what the dealer in St. Louis has on the lot," he mused. Looked like 2/3 of "The Italian Job" on the way back to FL.

Beautiful! Where did you get the black driving light covers? Mine came with white, which look like crap.

I don't think I was given any discount. It was from Mini of Mountain View. I'm not sure I'd want to give them my money any more though with the strike.

Mine came white also. The chrome lights come with white, black come with black. I like the chrome light/black cover combo since it matches the chrome grill surround and the black grill.

I ordered them through Morristown Mini. The part number for 1 cover, not a pair, is 63120432836.

$13 through Pelican Parts.

What color do you fellow MY owners think I should paint my calipers? I either want red or orange. Red is more traditional. However, I think orange would look nice too because it would match the amber near the front wheels.

What do you guys think?

Would think that the color from the wheels would be traditional.

Orange may go better with Mellow Yellow than Red.

I did mine silver to match the wheels. I agree orange would look better than red IMO.

Unless you re putting an aftermarket big brake kit on, I wouldn't paint the stock calipers any other color than stock. It looks cheesy "in my opinion" when people paint stock parts red or yellow or body color to make it "look" like they have a big bucks brake upgrade. It doesn't fool anyone.

Re-Paint in stock colors if the calipers are rusty (Black or silver)

Just an opinion, of course do what ever makes you happy, life is too short!

Is it too soon to join the MY owners club? I haven't ordered my 09 yet, but I expect to within the next month.

Stella should be here before Christmas, but in the meantime, I'll need some support from the fellow MYers out there. We seem to be a rare/special breed.

BTW, I say paint the brake calipers. I'm going to paint mine body color.
