Which one is better 215-55/17's or 225-50/17' ?

Which one is better 215-55/17's or 225-50/17' ?

i am looking for a new NRT tires,, i am not really sure what size to go for....

some say 215-55/17's and some says 225-50/17'


so what size is better ??

Depends on what you call better. 225-50 is going to be slightly wider and in theory will give u more contact with the road surface. 215-55 is possibly a tiny bit deeper side wall and maybe a little bit softer ride, though my betting is you will not notice the difference at all. The most important decision will be the tyre brand / tread / rubber compound as this will make much more difference to your ride.

225-50/17 have exact same diameter as OEM tires
215-55/17 are larger - that can affect speedometer accuracy
