Recently lowered on ST coilovers. Now officially a corner-slaying monster.

Everything...lol. I pulled it out of storage after 6 months of hibernation. After tomorrow...It will have 6 months more. It just needs some TLC. I have too many parts to go back into it and things I need to fix. I.E. the bumpers and sideskirts. Im slammed so far down that daily driving has snapped all my mount tabs....not the plastic clips but the tabs on the bumper and skirts...:sad:

Not sure why I haven't posted to this thread before. Here's my R50. It doesn't look like much, but it's a rare JCW MINI Cooper.

Nice Coupe. I have one, too. But this thread is for Justacoopers.

OOPS! your right. That is what I get for jumping in and out of threads too fast and not reading them. I pulled the thread and will post in the proper forum.

Nice R50! I love the wheels :) How do you like the R58 vs the R50?

jamesday24 05-24-2012 10:14 AM

They are very different cars. The JCW Coupe is much quicker, of course. But it has an enclosed feel due to the smaller cockpit and dark colors. My R50 is bright and airy with light grey headliner and large sunroof and side windows. The Coupe feels heavy and solid compared to the R50 which feels so much lighter and truly go-kart-like. The Coupe has a Sport button but the Cooper is always in sport mode.

If I had to keep only one, it would be my R50.

I plan on keeping my R50 for a while. I actually prefer it over my previous R53s.
