MINI5280 female members are invited to participate in this June 7, 2014 event at the Colorado State Patrol Track in Golden, CO. Registration (required) closes June 2, 2014, fee, approved helmet and car tech-inspection ahead of the event are required. Read further information below.

Ladies have you ever been curious about what it's like to drive on a race track? Have a little inner "Danica Patrick" wishing to be set free? This is your golden opportunity! Please join us for this low pressure, high excitement Driver's Education Track event designed for Ladies only. It is the perfect opportunity to learn to drive on the race track in a very controlled environment with other women just like you. We will run a separate faster group to accommodated our experienced drivers too.

The Colorado State Patrol Track is easy to learn and in-car instruction will be available. The event is open to all makes and models, however, convertibles must have roll over protection and the Porsche Cayenne is the only accepted SUV.

Ladies’ Day registration closes Monday, June 2nd, and we are less than 2 weeks away from the actual event, Saturday, June 7th. This is the only event of the year exclusively for women, and it’s a great opportunity to get introduced to the track if you’ve ever wanted to give it a try. Don’t miss out. Pre-tech inspections are tomorrow night – Wednesday, May 28th from 5:30-7:00 at these participating locations:

When you check in at registration the day of the event you will need to have these signed tech inspection forms along with your driver’s license in order to check in. You must wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants (both must be cotton) and closed-toed shoes when driving. Bring or borrow a helmet if possible (Snell rated 2005 or newer). There will be a few “loaner” helmets available. We can always use volunteers, and please have them wear or bring along long a sleeve shirt, long pants and closed-toed shoes too.
