Come join your MINI and Mini friends for the 2nd Annual "Buckhorn to Bucksnort" lunch run. This ride begins at the Buckhorn Exchange (the oldest bar in Colorado) and ends at the Bucksnort Saloon in Sphinx Park, CO. We will invite our friends from Colorado Springs to come up the back way from CS thru Woodland Park to meet us there. We invite our friends from NorColo to head down too across the Peak to Peak and meet us in Pine Junction. This is a fun and twisty ride, not too long, and the destination includes an afternoon meal and ice cold beverages right on the river.

Here are the details:

• Sunday, November 6th (the Broncos are OFF - Bye week!!)
• Meet at the Buckhorn Exchange at NOON, ride leaves at 12:30. This is located at 1000 Osage St. near 10th and Santa Fe in Denver (go west just a bit to the Light Rail station...park right there...Buckhorn is just across the street)
• 45.9 mile ride to Pine, CO from Denver (Sphinx Park, actually - 1 mile up a dirt - egad! - road...) and only a 60.4 mile ride from downtown Colorado Springs to Pine, CO and only 56.4 miles from downtown Boulder to Pine, CO.
• Ride takes right at an hour to get there, we head out Hwy 285 westbound then south at Pine Junction to Pine and Sphinx Park
• Arrive at the infamous (actually, famous) Bucksnort Saloon at about 1:30. Please note that parking is very tight at this venue (you will see why) but it is perfect for MINIs since we are small. Also note that this is nothing (nothing) like the Broadmoor - don't get your hopes up at all.
