FTM & TPM Question

I read about the Flat Tire Monitor and Tire Pressure Monitor systems in the manual for my 2010 MC Conv.

Is this car equipped with both systems?

Either no one knows the answer or it was a really stupid question. Lol.

Anyway, I ended up contacting the dealer and confirmed that both the FTM and TPM systems are standard on my 2010 Mini Cabrio.

I was wondering about this because for some reason both of these systems had and Asterisk next to the name in the manual and usually they do that when it's discussing an optional item.

TPMS is standard in the US because of federal regulation. I had no idea the FTM system was still functional, but I guess it makes sense as it is essentially free. All of the sensors are still in place and used for other purposes.
