Anybody have a couple a-layin' around?

JLMK!

Thanks

ooh tough one Chris

maybe finding a plater in Boston might be cheaper? I've done alot of house resto work and chrome and nickel plating is failry reasonable. (Thinking that black chrome would be HOT...)

Still looking for the black ones!

Thanks

Derek

Moss has the chrome ones, they just aren't very cheap.

I am doing a set of S grilles black this weekend. I am going to leave the "S" red though. If enough people are interested, I may make more and sell them.

MC ones are about 9 dollars a piece at the dealer, why not just go buy those?

There is an old thread about this. . I did a bunch of research and tracked down the best folks most capable of doing chrome finish on plastic. It probably cannot be done by the nearest guy in town that chrome plates parts. . . Best price I could get them to do it for was the same as ordering the overpriced ones from Moss. . .

Good luck if you find someone who can do it for a reasonable price. I'd love to know. . . but I gave up on the project. . . .

There are several processes that can put the chrome on a plastic piece, but some of them are not suitable for an exterior part. . .

I bought a set of the Moss ones. Very brittle and flimsy. The hooks on the back snapped on installation. Moss was gracious enough to let me return them.

No, I got the mesh style.
If anyone knows of some quality chrome replacements, could you clue me in?

ok people... I know your trying ot relieve people of their MC side grills BUT... I wasn't able to find any when I did it... soooo call Classic Mini up... and order them. They are $11.20 (thats with NAM discount) a piece plus a minor $7.00 shipping fee :/ which totalled me out to $29.40 for brand new ones!
