Emergency Call Malfunction after Cabin Filter Change

Yesterday I replaced the cabin air filters, going to do the B service in a month or so but thought I'd get started because the filters came in. On my '19 room is tight so I removed the side panel on the hump, then took the under panel loose on the glovebox. I disconnected what I thought was a footwell light, and replaced the filters, went out this morning to fix the clock and had a warning light that the Emergency Call Service not available. The warning could not be dismissed and wouldn't allow to see anything in the info block, no trip, speed, temp or anything.

I googled it, and found hundreds of 2019 BMW's with a bad telemetric module, or the battery that's there for the system. Not much on a Mini.

Scanned for codes and got a speaker disconnected code, cleared it, car is fine.

That thing I thought was a light was the speaker for the emergency call system. Just posting this here in case any of you have fat hands and can't get the filters out and in.

Thanks to everyone, been a member here years but haven't had to post in years.

EXACTLY THIS for me. Would have never figured it out. (Well never? I figured it was maybe related to the filter change)
the wire was “attached” when i buttoned up, but must have dropped off the next day “bong sos failure”.
looked all over for things to check. This was the only post in the entire internet in spanish (they dont fix anything in spain themselves anyway) or english.
thanks.
i didnt have to clear any codes. Just plugged it in and no more error.
took about 90 seconds from first turning a screw to done. I imagine the mini dealer would have taken out the dash, replaced the unit, buttoned it up, fixed the speaker and charged me €600.
