Anyone knows what's the easiest way to remove the glove box on a 2015 mini Cooper countryman? I managed to remove it but I find the 2 screws at the bottom are a PITA. I remove them without removing the airbag trim below the glove box but is there a way to remove that trim to have a better access to these 2 screws?

You can just remove the airbag. I've never actually removed the glovebox without removing the airbag.
Step one, disconnect the battery so you don't set off the airbag light.
there are two "invisible" 10mm bolts behind the air bag. To get at the one on the passenger side, I had to remove the foot light.
You can feel them on the left and right if you put your hand back there. You will need a deep 10mm socket.
Once your have the nuts off, there are two basic bolts on the bottom, and the top "unclips" if you just pull it with your hand. Use a flat head to disconnect the air bag connector and it's out.

Here's what it looks like.

OK so I think I found the bolts you speak of, but how did you remove the foot light?? Seems like it's part of a larger panel...

There are two screws that hold the bracket for the foot light, then the bracket will unclip. At least in mine.

yep! Those are the two bolts you have to remove the nuts from.

Couldn't get one of the bolts out, so took the glove box without removing the airbag, just couldn't do it...
