break in and stolen items

Last week my son left the garage door open and a thief stole my 4th GEN IPOD touch along with the Y cable.

I also have a IPhone from Verizon. My IPOD touch worked fine through MINI Connected, however I purchased a new Y cord but my IPhone isn't recognized using the Ycord in MINIConnected PLUGIN.

I was told by the dealership I purchased the Y cod at that it might be a problem with the connection in the car.

Wondering if anyone has experienced that and if you have were you able to get it to work.

Thanks

I'm trying to remember if I had to do anything in settings to get my iPhone to mount Mini Connected. Don't think so. Maybe the crook screwed up the USB when he yanked out your iPod. Let us know if that was the case after the dealer sorts it out.

Check the AUX connector on the cord you just have... It should have 4 rings on it... If it has 3 rings, it will not work for the plug-in... I have attached a pic of the cables, the one on the left is correct for the MINI....
