Hello, just bought my first mini, a '04 black MCS, black leather, sunroof, R90 rims, and a 6-speed. First off, i absolutely love this car and am hooked . My questions are, how do i know what packages i have and/or options. how do i find other enthusiasts in my my area and events. and where can i find some details on how to take my ds door panel off to fix my inside door handle? i cant open my door from the inside, have to roll the window down which gets old and annoying. thanks in advance and great site.

You can get the options info from the dealer... just bring your key to the service dept (which has your mileage and vin stored in it) and they can pull everything else.
For local friends, you can search NAM for regions & Clubs to see whos active and where...
As for fixing the door, you might still be under warrenty and be able to get the dealer to fix the issue...

It's not under warranty i already tried that, it expired at the end of september and i had 50,000 by then also, so i just need a thread on how to do this myself and get it over with. thanks for the info though
