Please help=(

I just installed FK Automotive coilovers on my 03 MCS and the ride looks amazing but it makes a horrible "thunk" noise on very little bumps in the back, and when I turn the wheel the fronts make a horrible sound that sounds like a creaky door. Everything is installed correctly what could this be and can it be fixed?

If you raise the rear suspension just a little bit, does the spring move? If so, you may hear the spring banging onto the perch. If they aren't included, a helper spring may do the trick. As far as the fronts, strut bearings in the top mounts are the only thing I can think of the move besides the hub itself.

For the noise in the rear it could be anything from the swaybar, endlinks, loose hardware from the install, did you tighten the mounting plate enough to compress the bushing on top of the assembly?

I would be most inclined to say the noise in the front is the camber plates or strut mount, which ever you used, is binding, or if you're running more than stock camber in the front, the coil on the driver side will actually contact the inner wheel well causing a metallic noise. To fix that you'll need to use a hammer to pound down the ribbing that is behind the coilover.

It sounds like you might want to get it on a lift and give it an inspection or take it to a shop for an inspection, looking like you'll want to redo the job, while taking your time.

Good Luck

I had a noise similar to this after installing a new RSB. Turns out the swaybar link wasn't tightened enough and would creat a very loud bang noise from the rear when going over a transition (like a curb to your driveway). Tightened the swaybar link down further, never heard it again.
