PowerFlex Bushings - small gap??
About 10 days ago a installed new ball joint and PowerFlex LCAB bushings. During the install everything went as expected but while re-installing the driver's side control arm the inner bushing popped out of the outer bushing. I used a ratchet strap to suck it back in and finished my install.
Fast forward to today and I just had new tires installed and I'm getting an alignment tonight (remarkably it feels fine despite all the parts I've replaced, but I want to be sure especially with new tires.) I lifted the driver's side to inspect a CV boot I replaced (old one was leaking) and I noticed there is a very slight gap between the inner and outer bushings. It s slight but the passenger side sits flush. Here is what I'm talking about:
Sorry for the crappy pic, but you can see the slight gap (maybe 1/16" or 1/32"?) Is this normal and/or acceptable?
I'd like to make sure before I get an alignment...
Thanks for the input!
