So this problem started approximately 2 weeks ago when the car started driving/starting very poorly as if it had a problem receiving fuel. Not long after this started few lights came on the dash. I ran an OBD meter and came up with two initial codes. The first was P0108 and another one that I can't remember and that hasnt returned. I changed the MAP sensor (simply pulled out the old one and plugged in the new one, was there more I should have done?) and it still drove/started very poorly. After a little bit of deliberation I vaguely remembered seeing an ethanol rating on a fuel pump right before this problem started. So just to be sure I drained the tank, put in an injector cleaner and a fresh tank of 91 octane. I then drove the car for an hour only to come home with the same car with the same issues. Any ideas on what this might be? Oh, and a couple days ago I had a friend clear the codes, just out of frustration. So he did, but the Service Engine Soon light and the DSC (slip control?) are stuck on and the slip control will not engage. With both of these lights on and the problem still present, no codes will come up. Any help would be appreciated and sorry if this explanation was longwinded and sporatic.

 

Ijust read a thread by norm03s and he has almost exactly the same problem as I do. His solution was to replace both the map sensor and the temp map sensor. I'll try this and see if that works.
