Looking for a cheap bike rack (or 2) for my oem r56 base roof rack. Has anyone tried these "HD Universal racks" from ebay on an OEM mini base? There are quite a few of these posted and they are extremely cheap relative to brand name.

I'm sure these are cheaply made and are not as user friendly as others, but I'm not a weekly rider (maybe 1 or 2x a month) and won't be going very far (no more than 30 minute drive). My mountain bikes aren't worth much and wouldn't plan to remove the racks until ski time comes again in the fall. I just can't justify spending $100+ per rack when I could get 2 for < $50 if these "work".
