Beautiful Clubman Kingpin!! I haven't seen the MINI letters on top of a Clubman in person yet, so your Ice Blue Clubman especially stands out nicely.
About the photos I said I'd post - Overnight, we went from 78 degrees to rain and snow. My new mini is tucked away in the garage. Soon - it's Saint Louis, wait a day or so and the weather will change - I will post photos. I love my new Mini though! More than I even thought I would. And I traded in a 2010 BMW 328xi. Not sorry one bit!!

Hey Vazter - very sporty edition of the IB Cooper! Thanks for sharing photos! Do I see the Black Jack on the windshield pillars, similar to Kingpin's side mirrors and scuttles? Both look really great!
I refrained from installing the front license plate; instead, I'm using the (modified) Rho-plate that uses the tow-hook. I'm not sure that I'll stay with it - your Mini's centered plate in front seems like it "fits" the Mini better.
Kingpin's right in his observation - I've noticed too that depending on the time of day, the weather, and whether inside or outside in the light, the color of the Mini's Ice Blue changes. It reminds me of the water on the ocean in the winter.

Congrats!
Congrats on the swell looking Clubbie! I hadn't seen the silver with Ice Blue for the Clubman - it is stunning! Thanks for sharing photos -

Your Clubman looks great with silver. You will notice other MINI drivers looking at you because they have never seen Ice Blue.
Enjoy your beautiful car!

Since my order was built wrong the first time around, I changed the rebuild to a white top and added leather lounge seats with chrome trim.
Ice Blue is the most gorgeous retro color. It reminds of the blues on the Vespas that zip around Europe. I feel like a kid again- I was an Air Force brat in Germany in the 60s and fell in love with MINIs and Vespas.

Nice Clubman. It looks like mine! Did you purchase your car from North Scottsdale MINI? After placing the order for my Clubman, I would go to the North Scottsdale MINI website everyday to look at pictures of an Ice Blue Clubman S they had in stock because it look so much like the car I was ordering.

There aren't many Ice Blue MINIs in the Bay Area.

I quoted your post because yes, the colors do change in the light. Interestingly, the ice blue IS ice blue. It is the color of South Atlantic ice bergs. I have not seen a picture as nice as it shows in person either. I have all blue and I'm in the process of blacking out all the chrome I can find. Pictures soon. I hope...

You don't like the little bits of chrome on your car?

if i can get all the pollen off, I might just take a picture. Mine is changing colors for another reason now. Blue to green, and in the wind back to blue again.
I'm not partial to chrome. Part of it is the black trim already on the car. Chrome just makes for yet another color, and not a classy one IMHO. Now, when chrome WAS chrome...
I do like the blacked out strip below the windows. I think I did it on every MINI. The chrome just catches my eye where as the black lets it flow from the tinted windows to the body color.
I was really excited when MINI finally offered the black wheels. They look really nice I think. I'm hoping the only chrome that will remain is the old fashions MINI emblem I picked up from England that replaces the new badging.

2011 Ice Blue Mini Cooper Clubman S - Kansas City
I've had my Ice Blue Clubby for about 1 month. It has a black roof and black mirror caps with the roof rack. I totally LOVE the color, and have received tons of compliments on the unique color. Haven't added stripes or other mods...yet. Contemplating some type of mod but enjoying the uniqueness of the color by its self.
