They are a pair of car seats - my two little girls love riding in the cabrio. They always ask if we can "take the mini cooper s convertible dada?" It is also much easier to get them into the convertible - I just lower the top, and put them in!

Thanks for the tip Rev ... I've got the heated seats and I can crank up the heat... but it would 've been hard time with all of the Valentine's heart balloons in the back. Heck... they took up the whole back seat . I would've had a lot of explaining to do to the wife and daughter if I didn't come home with those

Anyone having a difficult time getting the top down? I regularly have had to jerry rig the trunk to make sure it hits the switch. I'll take it back in when something is added to the list of things that need attention. Just the other day it was acting up again. The red light would flash. I checked all locks in the trunk. Nothing. Trunk lid. Nothing. Doors. Nothing. I'll try it again on the way home tonight now that it's stopped raining and it's back in the 50's today.

Thanks for the forum!

NOW I'm jealous

I just heard the weather report... rain/snow tomorrow... frigid temps, then more flurries over the weekend ... I feel like Phil the groundhog waiting for Spring

At least I got a carwash today

Gr8Force, didn't you have this problem before ? It sounds familiar. I haven't had a chance to put the top down since OCT... let us know when you get it fixed

Thanks for the forum!
Now that you mention it, I went to the dealer once to ask a question about passenger's side air bag and the mechanic hooked up my car to their PC and he said there was a fault with the top system, he cleared it for me, but as I was thinking about it, I did recall having a problem putting the top down once and I think I know what caused it, I was in my garage and had a back up alarm because the sensor was too close to the door frame and the top didn't go down, I had to try a few times and finally got it down, I knew something was wrong, that's when I decided to never lower the top if there is anything close to the rear bumper as it seems like the backup sensors have something to do with the top operation, I never had that problem since but I'm sure as long as the shifter is not in reverse, then it wouldn't matter if I drop it inside the garage.
Did you ever try to put the top down while in reverse and close to an object?

Hi all!

Going on 10 months topless, about 15K miles, one Dragon, and one track day, so far

The instructor was applauding, NOT praying!

Just got my MCSC Dark silver this week with the 6 speed manuel.

My question: Trying to shift and talk on the phone is a hassel, so I went bluetooth, but everyone complains about the wind noise on the microphone. Has anyone seen a headset that maybe has a wind deflector by the microphone?

Congrats on your new ride any pics?

I have a 5-speed and I made sure my new phone was bluetooth (kept getting tangled with the ear piece cords ). I'm using the Moto HS810 headset. I have it on my right ear so wind noise isn't much of a problem.

Here are some pictures from the day I took "Rudy" home. But first here is a link of a new headphone that fits in the ear and picks up your voice via your ear canal. My brother has one on order. I'm gonna check it out, think this might cure my wind in microphone problems with top down

My brother is the ultimate gadget / gizmo freak. He found this, and place a order. He said because its so new its on back-order. As soon as he gets it in, I'm gonna check it out and post a review.

Yeah, it's really small, supposed to fit in your ear like a small hearing aid

I'll be waiting for the headset review. I'm especially interested in how well its microphone works.

I want to mention that there are wired (not bluetooth) headsets that are designed specifically to handle noisy environments:

Have yo'll heard the joke about the guy who jumpstarted his mini cooper with an IPOD? Should we consider that insulting or funny?
