There have been changes to mine since I originally responded. The 2012 Countryman All4 was traded on a 2012 X5 35 diesel a little over a year ago. The 3 and 6 series are still there.

Frog eyed sprite?

 

Yes, it is a Bug Eyed Sprite 1960. I have had it for over 20 years and I took it apart to restore, but kids and now grandkids became more important. Maybe if I retire I could take it on, but most of it is in buckets. It rolls and all of the parts are there but that is about it.

 

Nice... pity... the SU carbs are fun to work on...

My father restored a '59 Sprite and we had that for the longest time. Then he sold it.

We inherited a 1956 A-H 100/M (BN2) from my grandfather. We wrote the A-H trust in England to authenticate the chassis number and it was an M from the factory. As opposed to a dealer add-on or private addition. We had two motors, two transmissions, two everything with numbers matching. Then before we could dive into it, my father sold it to a guy in New York.

Im not bitter... Great cars and fun projects. It was a blast to ride in...

This is one of the R53s garage mates. Although the MINIs never quite make it in there...not sure my wife would appreciate an errant spark burning a hole through the roof of her JCW!

 

I have a 2006 MCS JCW Checkmate and the family car is my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited (which im obsessed with just as much as my Mini) and the modding never stops with both vehicles.
