Better photos, sorry the video isn't up yet I had a nice one I thought, but my girlfriend apparently forgot to hit the record button. It's been a couple months now and the exhaust had to be retightened at the clamps from expansion but otherwise been good. The mufflers stayed nice and shiny but the piping did not. Guessing the stainless piping isn't as high quality as the mufflers and tips. Not really an issue as the tips and muffler are the only visible parts. Been really satisfied with my choice.

Looking at your original pictures, the piping just wasn't as polished as the tips or mufflers to begin with. Thats why it will never look the same, even though its likely the exact same quality. My exhaust for instance was mirror polished everywhere and still is, granted its never seen a winter yet. On a side note, car looks great but

lol

Made a very short video from inside the car, the hatch was open so you could hear it better. Better clips coming, been crazy busy.

As promised:
Outside the car revs, but quiet as the camera was in the waterproof case.

My Scorpion exhaust has also turned a golden color, but with that said my Eisenmann stainless exhaust on my former BMW did the same thing.

I guess if you want a fully polished system you have to pay an extra few hundred. Is rather save the extra cash. I'm still very satisfied with this system.

I'm happy with the carback part. However I would not buy the sports header I'm not happy with that part. It required way too much fiddling to install.

A local Euro Car used dealer has a few MINI on the lot, one of them has the Scorpion exhaust. It was the first time that I have ever seen or heard one.

We went there to look at another MINI for the Wife's son. It sounded nice I would say that it sounded most like the Borla.

I had the Ireland Engineering Exhaust it was throaty and low toned, it sounded amazing, BUT it was built CHEAPLY and had a terrible drone on the highway.

I recently pulled the trigger on full JCW exhaust setup, and I could not be happier, no drone, not loud till you put your foot in it. Amazing!

This is on an 06' MCSa, the one we looked at with the Scorpion was an 05 MCS.

Had an Ireland engineering exhaust on my e36 build quality was decent but the tips were very plain looking, much like the r53 system. I believe if they dressed up the tips they would sell a lot more.

Yes the IE Tip was nothing more than stainless with a 2nd one that was basically a fake. Also it never hung straight.

It is louder with the top down really let's you hear it echoing off buildings and what not. Now you need to put a header on!

So I'd like to pick up a scorpion catback system for my r53 as over the weekend it sounds like something is shaking around in there and the exhaust sounds like crap. haha. Where in the US can you snag a kit?

yeah I ordered one and then they told me 5-7 weeks back order :(
couldn't wait because I'm getting wicked fumes in the car and it sounds like metal gremlins in the muffler. Went with a stratmosphere... I can't wait to see you guys with the scorpion tho, it's what I actually wanted, hehe
