Stoker, the Sprintex unit comes with the 69mm (CARB Edition); the 64mm will need to be ordered.

We recommend that you install the Sprintex with the current 69mm pulley, put on about 500 miles to break in the new charger. Then install the 64mm with the proper belt, then proceed with the CRM.

Of course, we will send you a "Base 550cc tune for the Sprintex + TPR head" for you to use during the break-in period. All you have to do is flash this into your ECU with the FA-Lite Tuning kit

Love the shot of the Ford Popular! Judging from your attire, that was shot in the eighties, no? That would make the Pop around 30 years old. It looks pretty good for a 30-year-old car. Where were you in that shot?

Ok, admittedly a little embarressed here, but never heard of the Popular before, what's the relationship to the Anglia ('48) I have? Besides the Ford thing of course.

What kind of supercharger kit voids a warranty after changing the pulley? I can't believe people are still buying these after looking at the Sprintex owner's thread.

You do realize that changing the pulley on your M45 technically voids the warranty also.

Can't speak for anyone else but I did it for the Boost.

I may not bother with the 64 Once everything is on, the car might be scary enough..

Honestly it's all been said, as far as how much I like mine, if you have anything specific or are curious about anything just PM me, I'll be happy to help. Let me know when install time comes around, may be able to give you a few tips, but it's pretty much "as explained" in the instructions & pretty straight forward.

In general you can expect these boost #'s:
69mm = 15+psi
64mm = 17+psi
60mm = 19+psi
I was actually seeing right @ 20psi.

Personally I justified it as being a next step before a full on Turbo only swap, + I had already done most everything else & my M45 W/P gears were toast.

Turn's out, my local "Mini Shop" had a Boria performance exhaust in stock.
So, I got it yesterday and threw it on the car.
Sounds Amazing!! And pretty easy to put on.
In the long run, it will help with the mods I'm gonna do in the next couple of months…
Not sure if i get an HP gain out of it… But it's worth it, for the racket it makes ")

Hey Stoker... I too purchased a set of Spec-D Halo Headlights for my 2007 MCS.
When I pull towards me to "Flash" the brights... the low beams stay on and the brights come on....
When I push the stalk forward to turn on the brights... ALL the light shut off...
The only way to keep the low and high beams on... is to hold the stalk towards me.
Are your lights working properly???

Yeah. instead of tapping into the harness, i tapped the wiring on the Spec D headlights for the "halos"... doing that made everything simple. Is that what you did?

I plugged the headlights into the wiring harness... and the halo wires (separate from the wiring harness plug from Spec-D) I spliced into the parking lights.

I am still considering going to a Compound Boost setup. Decreasing the boost on the SC and then making it up with a rear mounted turbo setup. But it is something Ive been kicking around for a few years. I love how this Lotus Exige is setup. This would be so much fun in a Gen1 MINI.

I'd redo it. Tap the wires on the light. It'll get rid of your problems..

You have to check out that owners website as well as some vids on his other projects. I'd love to see this guy get his hands on a MINI R53 and see what he comes up with. Hell I will volunteer my R53 as long as he gives it back.
