Doug, is it definitely the transmission? I work at a shop that is 50 minutes from Hooksett. Not much help with having it looked at.

Anyone know of a place in NH that'll do walnut blasting? I found a shop in MA that's doing it (and for a decent price!) but it's a bit of a hike.

Where are you in NH? Where is the shop located in MA? You could try Turner Motorsport in Amesbury, MA. They service a lot of turbo BMWs. Or contact 3Dauto in Hudson or Concord Motorsport in Chichester. I have been on my boss to look into offering walnut blasting service but that hasn't happened as of yet.

I'm in Hudson. The place I mentioned is in Worcester (https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=266822&styleid=8).

I haven't gotten in touch with 3D yet but worth asking. Thanks!

I've seen DIY seafoam kits for around $130 online. I think Defender of Speed sells one. I know of a VW shop in Portsmouth that does Walnut Blasting. Still a ride.

Nope. I still have it. NM sent me a replacement third piece. They fixed the humming sound issue. Since my tune the sound was more frequent. That piece I'm trying to part with is the original.

Test drove a F56 S 6 speed today. Wow! It's so quiet and quick. Drives like a BMW. I would consider purchasing one in a couple of years when all the bugs are worked out.

Good point! That's what happens when I'm online too late at night; the thinking machine slows down a bit.

Anyone heading to MOT 2014 in June? Thinking of putting a caravan together up to Mini of Bedford and then to Mount Washington. Rode in a pack with far too many Mini's with no work done and it was quite boring last year.

Hit me up if your interested.

We are heading up on Friday. I don't know if we will leave from Bedford or try to get another meeting point with our small group.

ill be going, i still need to register tho, but i would most likly end up meeting you guys on 93 or such

I'm heading up Saturday morning from Hooksett if anyone wants to caravan up. we might be meeting up with another group in Plymouth at the Auto Spa www.autospanh.com. The owner of Auto Spa drives a modded R53.
