Satellite issue 2011 MCS

About a month ago I bought a 2011 r56. It has the Harmon kardon radio with the multi function steering but without BT.

I went on the Sirius website and signed up for the free three month trial for used cars. The problem is when I go to "sat" on my radio it just says "acquiring signal". I left it like that for an entire ride to work one day (about 35mins) and it never gets signal or activates.

I'm assuming it's a bad antenna. However when I went to check the connections there is no box under my passenger seat. Is it relocated on the 2011± or do I just not have it???

Thanks in advance for any help!!!
