Wc50 #439
After 13 months and what has been the most up and down new car buying process, I finally have JCW WC50 #439 brand new in the garage. It feels great, as anything and everything that could go wrong/take time in a car buying process happened, then happened again.
I had the 3M protection, JCW suspension, JCW strut brace, and JCW shifter installed at the dealer before cross country shipping. I have to remind my right foot which Mini Im in as I have been bouncing back and forth between this car and my R53.
Ray Kasprzyk at Towne Mini was amazing to work with, especially when the situation hit any of the roadbumps that occurred, massive props to him.
Now if you excuse me, Im off for my second run on Highway 1 of the day, pictures on the way!

The coilovers finally got their first real workout. Was fantastic really. Very neutral handling with 4 occupants plus gear. High CofG also with the top box.
Most of the bugs came off the night I got home. Same for the 1/2" of brake dust. However there is still too much on the car.
Tomorrow goes to dealer for 1 year service at just under 19.9k miles. 3M clear bra gets replaced. Something got on it and discolored it. Nobody is sure what did it. Drivers side stripe getting replaced. Road debris dented hood and removed small area in stripe.
Car is at 31.5mpg and 40.4mph according to the computer. It is about 1 mpg less than that actual. The computer is very generous compared to actual. MPG have been 27.8 (that was fun) to 32.9 (grandpa highway driver). No mechanical issues at all. Halfway through run flats and winter tires. Brake pads work at least half. Very slight warpage of brake rotors. Slight wearing of steering wheel alcantara. Body shop 4 times. 1) rear ended (I have paint codes if you ever need them, hope not) 2) my kids door dinging with snow shovel 3) Hail damage 4) road debris.

6th Gear
iTrader: (23)
I visited one of them yesterday. Beautifully engineered road bikes. Very basic, but well made. And very pricey (over $1000)

JWC / BRG license plate
I'll make a shameless plug for my JCW license plate that I'm selling. The JCW logo is set in a BRG color plate. Looks great, but not for my Chili Red MCS. Too much like Christmas
For those of you fortunate enough to have a WC50 this plate frame would make the perfect complimentary addition.

Hi All - 437's Has a New Home
Hi All,
437 has moved to California and its resting contently under its car cover. Thanks JackMac for updating the map and everyone in the group for your posts - they provided me with great info and insight into the cars before I bought mine.
The car is still in great shape - the only exceptions are its missing its dash plate and the paint has quite a few swirls in it.
Before I picked this car up I had not been in a MINI since I lived in the UK in the late 80's They were fun then.....even more fun now! 437 was supposed to be a once a week driver for me but I can't seem to keep myself from getting behind the wheel every time I have to go out.
