JCW wheel options: Dealer steering me to CCW and away from Schnitzer

Recently asked the local mini and BMW performance/aftermarket shop for a quote on the Ac schnitzer AC1 wheels for my JCW.
They are steering me to CCW and HRE. HRE i know of - CCW never heard of.

Any reason why the schnitzers are being avoided - and does anyone with a JCW have experience with CCW and HRE?
im looking at the site and not seeing any designs that get me as much as the schnitzers do.

Why not neuspeeds. Love ours. Balanced great and fit like a glove. You won’t need hub centric rings either.

Dealer sounds like he's steering you towards some of the most expensive wheels out there.

I agree that the NM/Nuespeeds are a great option from what I've seen... price/fit/weight/quality.

All depends on what you like and what you are wiling to spend I guess... Does Rotiform make the AC1 wheels?

The ADVAN T5's are pretty sweet.... along the lines of the AC's design you like.

The AVS F50's look nice too

I know of CCW's from other worlds outside MINI, they are well respected and like HRE's top $$$$. The modular construction of their multi-piece wheels makes them popular with the road race crowd that prefer to 'build' their wheels to fit the particular application. Just my $0.02.

Thanks. nm off shoot from neuspeed:

I see them all over this site and on the 'gram. Thats looking like the easiest and most popular option - and theres a reason Mulgari have them as the wheels on their ICON2. Good price point. If only the RSE12s came in another black shade.

I really like the schnitzers tho. emotional connection from back in the day OG BMWs. after a good 6 months work wise i was willing to spend a little for some bling. Its very odd im not getting any love for them when asked for a quote - but pushed elsewhere.
Just clocked that ECS dont stock the schnitzers anymore looks like. odd.

Thanks for chipping in with knowledge. Even the link the dealer gave me doesnt really say much - other than convey the road race vibe and custom/modular piece. Kinda smells like overkill for a bloody F56 TBH - and why nobody has em for the mini on the street.

We don't carry Ac Schnitzer at this time. Possible in the future.

NM Engineering is here: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-nm-engin...mini/c-wheels/

ALL MINI wheels we carry, HUGE Selection: https://www.ecstuning.com/Page/wheel-brands/#MINI

MINI Wheel and Tire Clearance (few left): https://www.ecstuning.com/News/MINI_...earance_27784/

I have Team Dynamcis and it takes a while for them to come in, a bunch we had sold out. We can get more.

HRE, BBS, and Vossen will do custom wheel sizes we don't carry on the site (but we can get) but they are much more money.

The ADVAN wheels are a top tier wheel... still in the $3000 to $4000 range for a set of 4.
Light and strong... The ones on my R56 are stellar... though I'm moving on to a different style.

These are the ADVAN RS-2's

Thanks mate for that. You used to have them listed in past months tho i recall. NA distributor changes? Might explain away why the 'dealer' for them in my town isnt giving me warm and fuzzies with them

Thanks for that. Im willing to go 'medium' bling but not off the charts.

Schnitzer AC1s

Ive got two asks out to different schnitzer sources in Canada to confirm price is still valid (Jan 2020 last update) and to get clarity on the spacers.
My preference: They offer a wheel and tyre package (wheels, Falken summer tyres, mounting kit (spacers - really?) and rings for 4575.50CAD / 3460USD. Pricing the tyres locally with mounting and balancing is pricier if this option holds

Looks like 4.5mm spacers for the front wheels only - kit summary and details below

Hey Curly, did you end up with a set of wheels? I’m curious what you decided on. I just picked up a set of Schnitzers in anthracite. Had a set on my old e46, I’m excited to have another. Hoping the amount of wheel well gap wont bother me forever if it’s or not lowered.
