Any magic for wheel locks that won't come off

I bought 4 regular lugs because I hate fcking wheel locks and after getting one off the next 3 are stuck. I have an appointment for Monday. Probably going to cost me 200 to get the wheel locks off rims that don't look to me like their total worth is 200. Any magic to getting these off?

Kind of hating my car now. This is a base model with the cheapest set of rims I have ever seen so why in the name of god would you put wheel locks on the cheapo rims? It's a used car if I saw the wheel locks I probably wouldn't have bought it for that reason alone. Hate those things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On one of my cars all 4 wheels had the same problem. No matter what they wouldn't loosen. I tried backing out all the other wheel studs and driving on them (you should try this if you haven't... Made no difference they wouldn't move!

I eventually used an air chisel on 3 and a nut welded on the other.

Good luck.

I agree, let them steal my OEMs, they are so expensive from MINI, the insurance money will pay for some nice aftermarkets!!

Yep, they can stick, most people lose the keys and they cannot get them off, if you go to a MINI dealer close by they have the random keys to try. If it still sticks its the air chisel. I always applied a little anti-seize to my lug bolts so they will not rust and stick.

I recently saw a YouTube video where they pounded a slightly smaller socket onto the locking nut, attached the ratchet and presto, then, a bolt was hit with the hammer to drive the nut out from the socket.

I did this like 40 years ago.....I took an Craftsman 3/4" 1/2" socket and hammered the heck onto the locking lugnuts and took the rachet and they came off. Later I returned the socket to Sears...

Lol / feel the Very same. I ordered my Mini /// No wheel locks

its a great money maker for the Dealer /// Dealer add on ... Wife just bought a New Toyota , dealer add on / Wheel locks @ $80. BS, made pur deal, Locks were suppose to come OFf. Pick up time, Locks still there /// told them take them Off or cancel the deal. They did and told me, they would give us a free tank of Gas on our next visit. Nice CS.
This reminds me to make sure my new Mini does not have those on when I pick her up
