I'm settling on 16" web spokes for my MCS all-season setup. A better compromise of handling and traction for my tastes.

So that means my sparingly used Imola (aka "holey") rims are for sale.

The Imola rims are in great shape with ~3K miles on them. I bought them new this year as dealer take offs w/ 0 miles and used them just for the winter months.

They are a fantastic winter (good in the rain too) setup. Ride is quite supple, quiet, and handling is suprisingly good with them on your MCS or MC (compared to bigger 16" or 17" setups). MCS owners may notice a bit lower ride height using this combination.

The rims alone sell for $100 or higher as take offs or on eBay and tires are worth ~$55 new. So, street value is roughly $600 (new), not including the wear on the tires (minimal). Just need a good cleaning (naturally lots of brake dust on them from my MINI) and you'll be good to go!

So, the best offer at/over $350 gets 'em!

Will arrange delivery at MINI of Nashville. If you desire shipping we will have to see what it will cost to go via UPS, buyer pays all shipping costs (shouldn't be too bad - rims and tires are uuber lightweight!).

Would you be willing to sell just two?

UPS lost two of mine last time they shipped them out to me.

 

and are they white or silver

 

The rims are silver (white ones are a bit of a rarity from what I've seen).

Tires are the 175/65-15 Continental ContiTouring Contact series that MINI equips the normal Cooper line with.

Unfortunately it's usually hard to sell just two rims/tires, so I would prefer to sell the whole set. However, I may separate them if I don't get any bites on the set of four. I'll reply/post back if so...

Would you separate the wheels from the tires?

 

Yeah i know but they look good on race day. but not soon after cause of the brake dust

 

I completely understand your reluctance to split up the set.

But since I am in a bind, I have to ask.

 

As noted, I may part them up if they don't sell before too long. I'll let you know.

Not too keen on separating wheels/tires (I'd have to pay to dismount - don't have access to a mounting station anymore). If I did that I'd have to figure out a suitable price.

As noted prior, I may be a bit flexible on this if they don't sell soon. Don't really want the hassle of eBay, so I would prefer to sell here or similar MINI enthusiasts site...
