WTB: 10-15mm spacers

FOUND! - Thanks for looking, but I've since purchased a set of spacers from Passat774.

---------------------------------

I've got 5mm spacers that work perfectly with my street wheels (webspokes) and my Wilwood BBK. I need a bit more room for the Rota Slipstreams to fit... 10 to 15mm.

Anyone have some low cost hub-centric spacers they want to part with?

Hmmm, I have the same wheel I think (16x7 +40), and the same brakes. Mine fit fine with a 5mm spacer. Are you hitting the springs? Since I have the coilovers that might be the difference.

If thats the case time for a visit to TSW World HQ.

He may have +45 offset wheels - some of the Rota slipstreams for MINIs were sold that way.

I went back and looked at the For Sale thread for the wheels Aaron bought. They are 16x6.5. Then checked Rota's website and they list the 4x100 16x6.5's at +45.

So nevermind

Yep... They are definately clipping the brake caliper.

I'm still in need of some spacers.

Spacers are not something you want to buy cheap...H&R make a good product.

At 10-15 mm you are well beyond the hub and will need a set that will include a new concentric ring for the back of your wheels. You can't just use a spacer. (see the protruded ring on the inside of the spacer)

$0.02 of advice, I've been there, done it...

Yep. That's why I'm looking for 'hub-centric' spacers. I've got H&R 5mm spacers that don't need the additional milled ring, but I need at least 10mm spacers for the new wheels. These are for track wheels... higher stress... I'm not taking any chances by using flat spacers over 5mm.

I don't need cheap... but I am hoping for low-cost.

The Eibachs are on par with H&Rs. Also "TUV approved". I don't believe anyone makes a proper 10mm spacer for the MINI, given that the stock hub center is 10mm tall. Thus, 10mm spacers are known as The Spacer of Death.

Tazio,

Wow spacers of death, that's pretty cool. I have seen the jump from 5-15mm but did not realize the impact of 10mm spacers. Thanks for the heads-up!
