FS: 18x7.5 SSR Comp with BFG KDW 2 - $1,000 Shipped

Wheels and Tires:
18x7.5 (ET42) SSR Competition - MINI Dark Silver w/ Machined Lip
215/35/18 BFG KDW 2 (70-80% Tread Left)

Hub-Rings:
Four (4) metal hubcentric rings are included, brand new from Tire Rack (arrived 9/20). 72.2-56.1 MM

Condition:
All wheels were re-painted and re-machined about 2 months ago at Wheels America in Miami, FL.
I was told by Wheels America that all wheels were fixed as close to perfect as possible, 1 wheel still has a bend in it. This same wheel has a SLIGHT curb rash on it at the very edge of the lip, the rash is barely noticeable. Got it just a couple of days ago too so I'm upset about that lol.

Reason For Selling:
Need money to swap my transmission because my current transmission has no 2nd gear synchro.

Asking Price: I paid well over $1,500 for the set (Brand new retail is over $2,500)
$1,000 Shipped (+ 3.25% for PayPal)
Originally $1,300 + Shipping

Driver's Side Front:

Driver's Side Rear:

Passenger Side Front:

Passenger Side Rear: (Bent wheel, can't tell from the outside)

Rolling Shot: There's no doubt these wheels look GOOD, no wait, GREAT!

I am interested. My wife was t-boned (hit mostly square on the pass rear wheel) last week and she is just devistated that her rim is ruined. We have 17x7.5 SSR Comps in the same color (and tire setup) on our MCS and I haven't been able to find a replacement rim yet. Therefore we are forced to look for a new set. I will talk it over with her tonight and get back to you. I would like to see some more daytime pictures though whenever you get a chance.

Thanks
Wes

Alright, BUMP for the week. If these aren't sold by the weekend they are going up on eBay :( . I'd rather these go to someone on NAM or M|U so someone pick these up.

$1,200 OBO

I'm at the office right now but when I get home I'll take a pictures of the wheels as they sit in my garage. I doubt you will be able to tell in the picture though.

.:HALLOWEEN SPECIAL:.
...:::$1,000 Shipped:::...

These really need to go to make room for a new set of wheels and tires as well as coilovers. Somebody help me out here as I need the cash to finance my MINI's new look.

Thanks for the bump!

Something to note: The wheels are color-matched to DS but the SSR Anthracite isn't too far off. So don't think these will only look right on a DS as they are VERY close in color to the factory stuff!

Hey Wake, today I decided to browse through the wheels and tires for sale threads to possibly pick-up a set of wheels and I remembered this thread from your signature in other posts, since I am looking at SSR Comps as a possibility. As I browsed through the older threads I also came across this thread :

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=108689

These look like the same tires you are selling here but it seems from that thread that you purchased them two months before starting this thread for $800 vs the $1,500 you refer to in your original post. I might be interested in these but I guess I would like a clarification first. Did you paid $800 then $700 to Wheels America for the refinish and paint?

Oh, and could you post the picture of the bend?

Thanks.

Yep you got it. I purchased those wheels for $800 local 3 months ago, I drove up about an hour and a half (each way) to pick them up. I then had them all refinished by Wheels America, like I said. Also bought brand new Hub-Centric rings from Tire Rack that have NEVER been installed (I ran the wheels without the rings). I also had them re-balanced on a Hunter Machine after getting them back from Wheels America because I'm not sure what equipment they use.

I don't even think I had the wheels on the car for 2 months lol. Had tranny problems which is the original reason for selling them, but I already paid that off. Now I'm just contemplating twincharging and I'm going for a different look with the car.

All in all I paid over $1,500 for the set and brand new they cost about $2,500.

Note: Will be out of town until Monday

$1,000 Shipped + 3.25% for PayPal fees

Ok here are some more pics. What you see is what you get, wheels came off the car and into the garage. $1,000 Shipped for the set, add 3.25% for Paypal fees.

Here are all four (4) wheels in my garage:

Here is 1 wheel with what looks like 90+% tread life:

Shows the the tread life on the other 3 wheels, about 70%:

Both driver's side wheels:

One of the drivers side wheels with a nail in it:

Both passenger side wheels, the one to the right is the bent wheel:

Passenger wheel (bent), the lip has something on it. Went at it with my fingernail and it started to come off. Would need to be buffed, well re-finished really since it's bent:
