my stupid jack point gave way today and the car fell on the jack, ripping my sideskirt. Does anybody have one just laying around? I need it for the drivers side, but will consider buying a pair if you refuse to part. my MINI is scarred, please help

 

What do want to spend on these? $100 for a set too much? Not mine...

 

Sorry to here about the side skirt,but it sound like you could use a jack puck.

 

I'll bite, what's a jack puck? I have the aero side skirts also, want to avoid similar issue?

 

never heard of a jack puck either, sounds like maybe a disc that sets on top of the jack plate in order to provide more of a surface area? thats my edukated guess...

No problem, it is the only name I could come up with for them. I made an insert that goes into my jack that fits inside the lift point. But a friend of mine has his car slammed and the only jack that would fit would allow for the insert. So I started making little blocks that fit in side so it makes the jack point a solid mount that is less likely to slip or crush.
