Seems like you can drill a few holes lengthwise, insert some reinforcong rods (pen shells?) and CA glue it together, then buff the seam... let us know if any technique works!

just installed mine today after a bit of cutting.
bought mine for about $25. bought from a private seller. was cheaper than the buy it now prices by about couple dollars.
it was 46" so i had to cut it. i cut too much. i might buy another one and redo it.
i have a better idea when doing it. you'll see why in the pictures.

(please excuse the crappy pics..taken with my iphone)

angle those ends, right? Once installed, you could tape/paper off everything and hit is with some gloss black paint. Palu Uber = pwned

Yeah I was gonna do that. And maybe measure it better. And cut it close to the end of the spoiler. Otherwise I think it looks pretty nice. A very cheap alternative to the über one. And painting it would make it look very nice.
you have any pics PGT of your mod? Got around to it yet?

thanks! but you can basically buy it for any model. just have to look at the picture. all of em should basically be the same. just different lengths.
i think 39" is just about right. you can always buy a bigger size and angle the ends like PGT said.
i should have thought more about it before puttin it on the car.
was too excited to put it on. haha
but on the bottom there should be double sided tape.
it's really fairly easy. just use your common sense and it should get you through the whole thing.
have fun and enjoy it.

oh...and i used a dremel. make sure you wear some protective eye wear. dont want little pieces of rubber going into your eye..(the material is a rubber material..fyi)

Sorry I dont have measuring tape around but is our spoiler exactly 39" inches? I found a couple on ebay at 40" and was wondering if this would work w/o cutting or modification.

Heres one:

39" is approx. I wouldn't go any bigger...smaller would actually work best due to the shape.

one thing to note...I talked with a vendor about this locally and last I heard they're making these but at a reasonable cost. I'm sure we'll hear something soon.

Very cool. Please keep us updated.

In the mean time I found a 35" piece. Do you think this would be too short?

Like the enthusiasm guys!
But the extension wings are definetly two completely different pieces.

Just by lookin' at the height of the front edge does the trick!
The PU's also is a more drastic and slightly higher rear edge.

Once I get my Newly arrived Extension wing in place I will post some pics for comparison.

It's a wing, it's a squeegee!

The wing I got from PU is not flexible at all!
So it surely isn't a squeegee.
That's partly why I've been on the phone with them back and for and just had the third one arrive last night since the other two they sent me didn't fit the OEM spoiler at all.
They have crafted a Great lookin' extension wing IMHO!
They have also been great about customer service with this!
Will post pics once in place.
If bought of ebay you probably are buying a squeegee rebadged as a extension wing...

one could be excused from guilt on that based on the $30 price.

one thing to keep in mind....this is purely aesthetic, despite what PU says. What is the PU one made from? Fiberglass?

I really love this look. I know it's not identical to the Uber one, but for the price difference it's a pretty remarkable difference. There are CF look ones on EBay too. Did anyone else wind up trying this?
