WOW!!! I went driving this afternoon. I never thought an intercooler would make this much difference. Very impressed. No fan on when I stopped after 2hr hard drive. It always comes on after long drive. Not anymore!!!

 

Just finished the install. It went well, hardest part was taking the bumper off. I didnt drive after the install because of a bbq. Should be driving tomorrow, wonder how its guna feel.

 

Installed mines this morning. Was'nt too bad after watching the Helix Video. Total install took about 2 3/4 hours, including disconnecting the battery and stepping on the brake. Saw this step in previous forums. Only had one problem, and I still will need to research and figure this one out. While removing the wires from the lights, etc., a small antenna looking thing ( about 2 " long ) popped out from its position in the bumper. I can't figure how it sits back in the passenger side of the bumper. Oh well, I'll research it later, but for now....it's TEST DRIVE time.....

 

That may be the thermometer ... thats my guess

 

Do you know how to reinstall it into the bumper? Thermometer for what???? Thank You ....Car runs great though. If I can't solve this, I'll give Helix a call...

Checked out realoem. Could'nt find page with part. Anybody else ever came across this while installing FMIC? I just need to reset the way it sits. Can't figure how it snaps back in. Thanks
