Good to know theses things as it would give me and others enough time to decide before installing the FMIC.

 

That NM pipe sure looks nice and if they put tabs on it I would buy one!! It would also remove a wee bit of weight. IGOTBOOST seems to have the right idea, if no restriction then why do it, sort of like Helix's answer of "no real difference".

 

@Eddie07S I agree! That is why I had my FMIC sitting in my garage for a month because I want to do tube and FMIC all at once.

The NM hot side is a PERFECT fit, no need for screws in the middle. I think the whole point of the OEM screw was to decrease vibration. The NM tube holds up perfectly fine without it. If you are going to spend 6xx on a FMIC, why not expend the extra and get the tube. Makes the whole system more efficient.

 

Just so everyone knows, the Intercoolers are being built. Once we reached 10 we started making them. We will keep the group buy open for a little while longer. THanks for everyones deposits, hope everyone had a great holiday and I look forward to you all getting your Intercoolers!

Hello Alex, We are aiming for about a week or two after the New Year. The Intercoolers should arrive before then but we have to Quality Check them all as well as pack them up. Not long to go, you will all be very pleased with your new purchases!
