Will these projector headlights improve the illumination from the stock OEM Halogens on a 2009 Cooper or are they just to add the LED DRLs? I am looking to improve the illumination as the stock Halogens are terrible.

They have a better light pattern as the light is focused. We installed them and they looked much better then the stock halogens.

Would these also work with an LED light rather than a halogen?

You would have to have a LED bulb that fits an H9 halogen bulb set up.

Thanks
