Don't kill your BOV use a Sneed4Speed ETR kit
 

Your R56 MINI's blow off valve (BOV) is attached to the turbo and turbos get hot. The BOV is made of plastic and rubber which doesn't like to be hot and will melt and fail if repeatedly heated. The Sneed4Speed ETR kit cools the BOV, turbo and valve cover by replacing the stock MINI hood scoop grill with a high flow aluminum mesh grill and air diverter panel to blow air on to the turbo, BOV and valve cover keeping everything cool and functioning properly. Installation takes less than 30 minutes.
