MINIs Slay the Sleeping Dragon is a gathering of MINIs old and new, at picturesque Fontana Village at Deals Gap, NC. Masses of MINIs will be attending to Slay the Dragon! MSSD will be held on Friday through Sunday, October 12th through 14th. This is a laid back event which will have time for fellowship and driving! There will be something for everyone! This years Friday October 12th evening event will be trying a new venue for the welcome dinner.

1. We will first meet at 4:30 in the Fontana Village Resort lobby where we will pass out T-shirts and make run announcements.

2. Second, at ~5:15, we will head out from Fontana Village Resort's Lodge parking lot and head down the report's back road (Rymer's Ferry Road - Excellent Twisties!) to the Heart Center for a catered meal at their excellent venue. It location was once the local area's elementary school from the 1950's to the 1980's. Dinner will start at 6:00. At the Heart Center, we'll have having a catered dinner of smoked pulled pork and smoked pulled chicken with sides of baked beans and coleslaw and a vegetarian option as well. The food will be supplied by The Hub restaurant in Robbinsville, NC.

Note that dinner will be at your own expense and that you will need to purchase however many dinners your party needs. Dinner cost of $16/person for this event are to be pre-paid during registration.

PRE-REGISTRATION is very important. It will let us know how many cars to plan for. It will also allow us to send out important information by email all those who register as the event gets closer.
